Ford ReStart Program for Residents of Siskiyou County, California

This scholarship is for students who live in Oregon or Siskiyou County, California. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be 25 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or GED, and have not earned a bachelor's degree. They may enter the program at any phase of their education, but preference is given to applicants with limited or no recent college experience--and only then when the applicant is not currently a full-time student. Applicants must earn a certificate or an associate's or bachelor's degree and enroll full-time in the fall after applying at an accredited non-profit college. Applicants must also demonstrate the following: financial need; a history of working responsibly on the job or in the home to help raise a family; a commitment to education of a way of improving one's life and the lives of one's family and community; demonstrated initiative/leadership ability; and the ability to communicate clearly about strengths and goals.
