This fund was established in honor of Ellison Onizuka, a Hawai'i born astronaut who was tragically killed aboard the Challenger Space Shuttle in 1986. This scholarship supports students who exemplify the qualities of Ellison Onizuka; outstanding character, academic excellence, and an aerospace career.
