The Elena Albano "Maka'alohilohi" Scholarship Fund was created by a Maui family in honor of their ancestor, who was "a beacon of hope for individuals striving to shine." This scholarship is awarded to adults, in recovery from a mental health, behavioral or psychological disability, who are pursuing a traditional or vocational education program.
