This scholarship is for high school seniors in New Hampshire who are enrolling full-time at a post-secondary institution: a four-year, two-year, or community technical school. Applicants may be majoring in any field; however, those pursuing careers in business, hospitality, or food service industries will be given preference. Scholarships will be awarded based on merit and financial need. Students with at least a 3.25 GPA and who demonstrate substantial volunteer or community service are given preference. Other merit factors that will be evaluated include involvement in school activities and paid work experience. Ten scholarships of $2,500 are awarded to students enrolling in any institution, and one additional $5,000 scholarship will be given to a student enrolling in the Whittemore School at University of New Hampshire.
