This scholarship is for residents of the Dearborn County Hospital serving area in Indiana (Dearborn, Ohio, or Switzerland County), or those who intend to locate to the Dearborn County Hospital serving area. To qualify, applicants must be seeking a doctorate in medicine and demonstrate dedication and commitment to helping others through medicine and a commitment to practicing medicine in the Dearborn County Hospital serving area, following education and training. Preference will be given to students attending Indiana University School of medicine, Dr. Baker's alma mater.
