To qualify for this scholarship applicants from Seventeenth Street Missionary Baptist Church or Anniston High school. Church members enrolled in postsecondary education also qualify for this scholarship. An essay is required for this application, and needs to address three questions: 1) What are your personal aspirations, educational, and career goals? 2) What is a significant life obstacle you have faced and what was its impact, and 3) What person, living or dead, do you admire and why?
