Dr. Blanca Moore-Velez Woman of Substance Scholarship

National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs (NANBPWC)

This scholarship is for African American women who are 35 years of age or older. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university, be residents of Maryland and US citizens, and have a cumulative 3.0 GPA by February 1. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit an essay on the challenges facing mature students and how they overcame these challenges. Scholarship applications must be submitted online via email.
