Dr. and Mrs. Charles M. Markle Scholarship

The Foundation for Enhancing Communities

This scholarship is for graduating seniors from Waynesboro High School in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be planning to enter the medical field. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need; character; and participation in extracurricular activities and leadership/community service. Final candidates may be asked for personal interview. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit a personal essay of no more than 300 words that answers the question: "What in my life helped me to decide to find a career in the medical field?"
