Don E. and Charlotte Williams Scholarship

Community Foundation of the Great River Bend

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide grants to individuals for educational purposes at colleges and other post-high school institutions, including trade and technical schools.

Applicant must reside in Scott County, Iowa or Rock Island County, IL, or if the applicant does not reside in the counties specified, the applicant must be a lineal descendant or dependent of a former employee (worldwide) of Don E. Williams Company.

Applicant may be a graduating high school senior or a non-traditional student. Applicant must not yet have a Bachelors degree.

Criteria include academic achievement, applicant’s determination to achieve his or her educational goals, and evidence of well-rounded interests and concern for others.
Preference will be given to applicants who are lineal descendents of a former employee of the Don E. Williams Company who was in good standing with the company during their employment.
