Diverse Minds Writing Challenge - Southern Jersey Region

B'nai B'rith International

This contest is for high school students enrolled in regional public, private, charter, or independent schools within the following counties in southern New Jersey: Cape May, Cumberland, Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Atlantic, Burlington, or Ocean County. Applicants must have not previously published an original manuscript for profit. To enter, applicants must write and illustrate a book and submit a manuscrip that teaches elementary-aged children about how tolerance and diversity can improve our world. Submissions should provide a story that children can relate to and promote a greater understanding of different cultures, lifestyles, and beliefs. Submissions may be fiction or nonfiction. Students may work individually or as a team (up to four members). Please see the contest rules on the website for details and information. Submissions may be mailed or emailed.
