Displaced Homemakers Scholarship
Association on American Indian Affairs, Inc.
This is a college scholarship for American Indians who have at least one quarter Native American/Alaskan Native blood. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be full-time students who would not otherwise be able to complete educational goals due to family responsibilities. Generally, this means students age 30 or older who 1) never attended college due to family responsibilities and are now entering college for the first time; or 2) had attended college when they were younger, but put school on hold to care for their children and never received their degree. Applicants must be pursuing an associate's degree or higher.
