Directed Energy Professional Society (DEPS)

These scholarships are for full-time graduate students who are interested in pursuing or currently studying the DE technology areas of HEL (high-energy lasers) or HPM (high power microwaves). The traditional academic disciplines involved in DE research include, but are not limited to, physics, electrical engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials sciences, optical sciences, optical engineering, and aerospace engineering. To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must be attending a US school for the term of the scholarship. Applicants may be either US citizens or citizens of other countries; foreign students must provide with the application package a letter of intent to become a US citizen.
