D.A.R.E. Scholarship

Community Foundation of the Ozarks

This scholarship is for students attending one of the following high schools in Polk County, Missouri: Bolivar, Fair Play, Halfway, Humansville, Morrisville (Marion C Early) or Pleasant Hope High School. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have participated in a D.A.R.E. program, if available (a program with equivalent curriculum is acceptable); at least a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (6.875 on an 11 point scale); recommendation of principal and a high school teacher; and submit an essay and signed certification to refrain from all use of alcohol, illegal drugs, and tobacco. Applicants must attend an accredited university, college, or vocational/technical school.
