Columbus Rotary Scholarship In Honor Of Judson S. Erne

Heritage Fund - The Community Foundation of Bartholomew County

Established by the Columbus Rotary Club to honor club member Judson S. Erne, former principal of Columbus High School, for his many years of devotion to Bartholomew County – within the educational community as well as the social services community.

Criteria: Graduating seniors from any Bartholomew County high school pursuing a post-secondary education and attending a college, university, or technical school with the desire to pursue a degree in education, divinity, nursing, or social work. Applicant must have a GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale or 5.0 on a 12.0 scale, have been a member of a school-sponsored service organization, and participated in community service (school- or nonschool-sponsored) throughout high school. Scholarship will be renewable for three years, provided recipients maintain a 2.5 GPA at their college or university and continue in the outlined course of study.
