CHISPA Scholarship

Community Foundation for Monterey County

Applicants are eligible if they or their parents currently live in a CHISPA apartment building, a rental home constructed or renovated by CHISPA, a home purchased from CHISPA by their family, or a Self-Help Home constructed by their family through CHISPA’s Mutual Self Help Housing program. Applicants should have documented financial need, 2.0 or higher GPA, demonstrated perseverance in overcoming challenges, and good character. Preference may be given to students not attending Hartnell College or CSU Monterey Bay.
