Chapter 63 - Smith Memorial Scholarship

Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) Education Foundation

This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors and undergraduate students who are attending an accredited college or university and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. To qualify for this scholarship, non-SME members must be first-blood relatives and/or legal dependent family members of current participating SME Chapter 63 members. First preference will be given to current active membership in an SME student chapter in the states of Oregon and southwest Washington. Second preference will be given to students planning to attend Oregon or southwest Washington schools, as this is the focus area of SME Chapter 63. Third preference will be given to applicants who reside within the states of Oregon and Washington. This scholarship can be used only as a credit toward books, fees, or tuition.
