Blind or Deaf Beneficiary Grant Program

Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA)

This grant is for Pennsylvania residents who are blind or deaf. To qualify, applicants must be enrolled at least half-time in a postsecondary institution, maintain satisfactory academic progress, and file the FAFSA. Applicants also must supply documentation of their eligibility to receive benefits from the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR), or from their physician regarding their visual and/or hearing impairment. This program awards funds on a first-come, first-served basis.
