Applicants must be children of active or deceased Barnes Group Inc. Worldwide employees. Eligible children are defined as age 30 or under. Active employees must have been employed by the company six months as of the application deadline date. Children of an employee who died while actively employed are eligible, provided that the employee had at least five years of service at date of death, and that the child applies for a scholarship within five years of the employee’s death. Applicants must be students who are enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational-technical school or graduate school.
