Association for Women in Communications (AWC), Springfield (IL) Chapter

This scholarship is for college juniors, seniors, and graduate students (full- or part-time) as of January 2014. To qualify, applicants must be from central Illinois or attend a college or university in central Illinois; be majoring in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field; and have an above average GPA (3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale). Applicants also must demonstrate a commitment to a professional career in communications through educational work and demonstrate service to the communications field through extracurricular or job activities.
