The Amgen Scholars Program is for undergraduate sophomores, juniors, and non-graduating seniors who are enrolled in accredited four-year colleges or universities in the United States, Puerto Rico, or other US territories. To qualify, applicants must have a cumulative 3.2 GPA or above and have an interest in pursuing a Ph.D .or M.D.-Ph.D. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents. The program provides scholars with the opportunity to participate in a hand-on research experience at a leading universities across the country. See website for additional details.
