Review of The Art Institutes

from Alviso, CA

Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

I cannot begin to explain the wealth of knowledge standing before me at The Art Institutes of California - San Francisco. The instructors, staff, and fellow students offer me the greatest possible networking pool I could ever imagine. Cultural differences are broken and the focus is on your education more than anything. In every class, there is something being explained that is worth its weight in gold.

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

The staff are unbelievably helpful and kind. I have never felt more welcomed to a school than when I arrived to this school. Initially I had been scheduled for a simple meeting, interested in just information. Six hours later, I had my start date and couldn't be more confident that I had picked the right school for me.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

This is a private institution that has a hefty price tag - but all your money is put right back into the services they offer. With free tutoring, a team of Peer Mentors and Resident Advisers, and online services that will keep even the biggest internet junkie occupied, I have little doubt that my money is going to waste. It only goes to waste if I don't show up for class. There's even a free agenda that will last all year!

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Don't be afraid. Ask as many questions as you want, and really give yourself the confidence in knowing what you want. Know that this school needs your dedication - but isn't that what your career demands of you? A level head and a light at the end of the tunnel will help you stay on track to finishing your education.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

The San Francisco location is especially great for students who live in the Bay Area of Northern California. The campus is literally right outside of a BART station, and just a few minutes away from a nearby Caltrain station. There is also another location in the South Bay, in Sunnyvale.
