I was kind of worried to take online classes, but once I went in to the campus and my program manager was explaining the online curriculum, I knew it was right for me. I have attended two semesters here and I have learned so much, I have already filled out for healthcare jobs!
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
I like Rasmussen a lot. I like how they have 24/7 technical support and personal support. I really feel like they take time to make the student comfortable and enjoy being a student at this school. When I go to the campus, I really feel like everyone is a family and that they know you. It is really enjoyable!
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
Although I have a junior college closer to my house and it is not as expensive as Rasmussen, I wanted a better education. It will be well worth the price when I have a degree in two years as opposed to three years because there are too many students in a class, so you have to wait. I think the price of Rasmussen College is worth it, especially when you'll be making more in the future!
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Utilize the Wimba classrooms. It is so cool to be able to talk with your teacher, even though they are far away. Make sure you check your grades and ask the teachers any questions you may have.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
I am a single mother with no vehicle. Rasmussen College Online is perfect for people that want to stay at home with their children and have no for sure way of getting to a school every day. I am a full-time student and I'm getting good grades because I can do all my classes online when I want to do them.
