Overview

Originally founded as the Bible Teacher’s Training College, New York Theological Seminary is an evangelical and ecumenical Christian graduate school in Manhattan dedicated to training students for ministry. NYTS offers master’s degrees in Divinity, Pastoral Care, Religious Education, Religious Leadership, and Youth Ministry, as well as a doctorate in Ministry. The seminary holds classes at New York City’s Riverside Church and other locations in the NYC metro area. In addition to its academic offerings, NYTS is home to an Office of Vocational Discernment providing counseling to help students determine their spiritual direction.
