George Williams college is a great school. we are like a family here. if you don't want to be just a number at a big school, this is the place for you.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
I encourage you to visit the school because if you love beautiful scenery this is the place to be. the lake s right on campus and you see beautiful trees everywhere.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
sometimes I wish the classes would be like other schools but I think it makes us different. At this school, the teachers make sure you are successful. if you are not a lazy person you will do great.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
for dorm life I think it's all about the dorm you live in. if you live in the emery dorm, your room looks like a hotel room. it looks like that is because it used to be hotel rooms. if you live in oak or hickory, your room doesn't look like a hotel room but the room is still nice. all dorms have a bathroom so there is no community showers, which is a major plus.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
the food here is better than most colleges. we have good food in our dinning hall and it is buffet style. we also have something which we call the college inn which is another option for food. I must admit, while there are some healthy options, the food there is kind of like our version of fast food. the food there is so good though.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
we have many events for students to have fun together. just recently we had a murder mystery dinner, which I admit was fun. soon we will have a video game night which will be fun. we have bashes that the school plan for us. It's where we all come to together to dance and create fun memories.
How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
I think we have great campus safety. we see them everyday, all the time and they know us all by name. we know them so well that we have casual conversation with them. they keep us safe and even come down when we get locked out of our room.
