What Students Are Saying
Read campus map prior to registration! And bring an umbrella!
Makenzie from Camas, WA
Take the Orientation and look around the campus, it makes the first day of school a lot less stressful.
Although there are over 16,000 students here, he campus is large and the classrooms are kept to under 30 students usually, so it does not feel crowded.
Do not hesitate to use your resources, talk to your advisers, fellow students and the tutoring programs.

get involved in activities and/or work on campus; it is such a great way to meet other students and get to know people who work there. get there early to have better luck with parking. go to class every time and get your homework in on time; try not to procrastinate. find your rhythm as to when you study, when you work, when you have friend/family time, and when you have you time. do not forget to have fun while studying and working hard!

Get to know the resources on campus and your professors, they can offer a lot of insight and help.
Diana from Vancouver, WA
There is a lot of independence and you are expected to act like an adult. Although Clark and its staff reminds you of things, you are responsible for taking action.
