As part of the City Colleges of Chicago, Kennedy-King College is a 2-year public community college on the city’s south side. The college confers certificate and associate degrees in preparation for students to transfer to 4-year universities or enter the workforce. As the hub for the City Colleges culinary and hospitality education, Kennedy-King is home to the Washburne Culinary & Hospitality Institute, providing hands-on learning with prominent chefs and hospitality instructors. Also affiliated with Kennedy-King are the French Pastry School and the Dawson Technical Institute.
