Being a student at SSU you have to have a lot of patience with the staff. SSU has a large number of students that attend there, so you will have to stay away from procrastinating on certain projects. Overall as a student there i would say that its a very good and reasonable university.
Dennis from Richmond Hill, GA
I love my HBCU. In every department I have had the opportunity to work with, someone is always ready to help you do better. Building connections is key, but if you do the experience is great, and you can truly get anywhere from here.
Chantel from JACKSONVILLE, FL
This is a great school if you love small class rooms and campuses.
Simmons from Savannah, GA
Savannah State University is a proud HBCU with a campus full of history. This University has already opened doors for me, giving me different opportunities for a career path. The University motto of you can get anywhere from here is quite fitting.
Sean from Wrens, GA
Savannah State University is one of the Historically Black College/University in the South and the only university that lies on the coast. The campus is beautiful and they offer great academic and extracurricular activities that one can join. The staff and the students are interactive and fun to be around.
