I started attending this school the semester after I graduated high school and believed that it was relatively easy. The first semester, based on what you take, is a big review of high school. I did learn some new things but most of it was a reminder.
Christin from Suwanee, GA
I learned a great deal. From experience I had some wonderful, weird yet interesting teachers. LOL!!! In college period, regardless of 2 year or 4 year, you will learn a lot. For those of you who make the best out of your college experience. It is also best that you take notes and get familar with your professors. I.e, their methods of teaching, what they tolerate and going above the call of duty. Pays off in the long run.
Gabrielle from Atlanta, GA
GPC is a great school for non-traditional students. I don't feel like I stick out as a student in my 30s. Also, they offer a [credit] transfer admission guarantee program for when I transfer to my next school to complete my degree.
Lydia from Duluth, GA
A lot of the work is review from high school, but don't let that get to you. The professors move at a fast pace and they expect you to keep up. They have no mercy, even if this is your first semester in college. It's easy to make friends here, and you will meet people from every part of the world and of every age.
Rayana from Snellville, GA
Experiencing it for the first semester was great. I am doing much better in college than I did in high school so it is better.
Sara from Norcross, GA
I am making all good grades and the classes are interesting.
Anastasia from Alpharetta, GA
If you pay attention and attend class regularly, you will learn.
Deanna from Atlanta, GA
Georgia Perimeter is a great school for all students especially if your transitioning from High School to College. Georgia Perimeter College offers a great atmosphere to test the waters before plunging into a university setting (often with higher tuition rates). For me Georgia Perimeter has built my confidence by having great teachers who interact with their students and provide one on one attention.
Brooklynn from Lithia Springs, GA
georgia perimeter college is a very good college. the teachers really care about there students and they make sure that you are on the right track. georgia perimeter college has a very friendly environment.
Samir from Lawrnecville, GA
Georgia Perimeter College is an affordable alternative to big-name universities that offers a great education nonetheless. It's conveniently located to many standbys and has easy access to the Metro system for commuters.
