Compass College of Film and Media
Compass College of Cinematic Arts is a Christian-centered film school in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The college’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cinematic & Media Arts program is divided into concentrations in Story, Acting, Production, and Post-production, and every student spends 400 hours of real-world experience on a film set within their first year. Outside of classroom and film work, students explore their religious beliefs together during weekly Lifegroup meetings. Compass also sponsors a number of social outings throughout the year including monthly movie nights, video game gatherings, and film industry networking events.

it has a very small class size, about 140 in all classes, and only accept around 75 students from 600 applicants. however, the teachers are all very welcoming and are passionate about what they are doing. everyone is very nice and respectful and knows each other.
