The Philanthropic Initiative

The Yawkey Scholars program is designed to make college affordable for talented, motivated, low-income students from Massachusetts and Georgetown County, South Carolina. It provides a four-year renewable tuition scholarship and other supports to help students achieve academically and go on to be successful and highly productive members of our community. MA applicants must have a private, competitive college in Massachusetts among their top four college choices. SC applicants must have a private or public college in South Carolina among their top four college choices. All applicants must have someone in their life who qualifies as a mentor. All applicants must submit pages 1 and 2 of parent/guardian(s)' most recent IRS 1040 Fax Forms.
