The Skylight Effect Scholarship

SkylightsForLess.com, the premiere online supplier of VELUX Skylight products, is excited to offer our scholarship opportunity available to current college students and graduating high school seniors.

The scholarship will reward a prospective student who plans on or is currently majoring in Photography, Art, Graphic Design, Architecture, or Interior Design, but is open to all majors. Students will be asked to capture the before and after effects of a skylight installation in a building using photos, photo edited mock-ups, digitized sketches, drawings, or paintings.
The sky's the limit with this project! Some ideas to consider are: Take a photo of a room with skylights and a room without or sketch/draw a room or place that could be improved with the addition of natural light provided by a skylight or sun tunnel. Photoshopped images showing before and after scenarios are acceptable.

Applicants must be planning to enroll or be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at any accredited college or university within the United States for the upcoming academic school year. Applicant must have a GPA > 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and must be an American citizen or have a student visa.
