Applicants must have graduated from, or be a graduating senior from, a high school in the Cities of Roanoke and Salem, or the Counties of Botetourt, Craig, Halifax, and Roanoke and have a grade point average among the top ten (10) percent of his/her graduating class. Applicants must plan to enroll full-time in an accredited college or university that is classified as a part of the public higher education system of the State of Virginia with an intended major in an accepted field of study.
