Leila Syring and Sue Ryerson retired from San Francisco to Sun City West years ago. They remained healthy, but did have setbacks. With cancer and heart surgeries, they were introduced to the hospital scene. With the dedication, interest in the patient, expertise, and excellent care given by all who assisted in their healing, each hospital experience was a positive one. They decided to start their Scholarship Fund to fund the education of aspiring nursing students to ensure that health care providers will be available to serve future generations.
