Northeastern Illinois Chapter Scholarship

American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE)

This scholarship is for full-time undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a degree in occupational safety and health or a closely related field. Undergraduate students must have a 3.0 GPA; graduate students must have a 3.5 GPA. Priority will be given to students attend Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois; members of the Northeast Illinois chapter, regardless of school location; offspring of Northeast Illinois chapter members, regardless of school location; and to students attending school in the northeastern Illinois region, defined as the area north of I-74 contained within the Illinois state borders. ASSP student membership is preferred, but not required.
