Missouri Reach Tuition Waiver Program
Foster Care to Success
This program is for legal residents of Missouri attending or planning to attend a Missouri public college or university. Those who have been in foster care or other residential care under the Department of Social Services, Children's Division, on or after 1) the day they graduated from high school or received a GED; or 2) the day preceding (before) their eighteenth birthday; or 3) the day of their fourteenth birthday, if they were eligible for adoption may apply. To qualify, applicants must have graduated within the previous three years from high school or passed the GED examination. Priority will be given to students who have earned 30 college credits. Recipients of the tuition waiver must complete 100 hours of community service or a public internship within a 12-month period beginning September 1 each year they receive the waiver.
