Dwayne "Nakila" Steele Scholarship

This scholarship is for students who have interest in the Hawaiian language, culture and history, in addition to a commitment to contribute to the greater community. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate financial need and enroll in an undergraduate or graduate degree-seeking program at a two-or four-year college institution. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation; one from a teacher or counselor and one from a community organization citing how the applicant is working toward perpetuating the Hawaiian language.
