This scholarship is for students from Hawaii who have a minimum 3.2 GPA and demonstrate financial need. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must enroll full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree-seeking program at a two- or four-year college institution; demonstrate interest in Hawaiian language, culture, and history; and demonstrate a commitment to contribute to the greater community. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation from school, and employer, or community organization. Recipients are strongly encouraged to provide a minimum of 10 hours of community service to the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement.
