Arthur Jackman Scholarship
Hawaii Community Foundation
This fund was set up by the granddaughter of Arthur Jackman, a man who came to this country in the early 1900s and built his business working from the bottom up in the steel industry. The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships to students seeking training specifically to gain employment. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an AS or AAS career and technical degree program at a University of Hawaii Community College, preference for Hawai’i Community College.
