Lock Haven University is a public institution located off the Susquehanna River and near the Bald Eagle Mountains in Pennsylvania. The school is known for their STEP Initiative which prepares students for a technology-driven workforce by requiring laptop computers. LHU offers an International study abroad and exchange program in places such as Jamaica, Japan, Morocco, and Costa Rica. Lock Haven Unversity is a diverse learning environment filled with knowledgable and respectable faculty and staff. It is less like an educational facility and more like a home filled with friendly students who will become your best friends! LHU, or as we say, The Haven is also great because of its smaller class sizes which help students maintain focus as well as various clubs and organizations to become involved in!
